We have been missing our favorite American restaurants more than you could imagine lately.
German food is amazing but when you are craving Olive Garden breadsticks and some Arbys jalapeno poppers, there is nothing like it here.
I have been dying for some Alice Springs chicken from Outback Steakhouse this week and decided to put my cooking skills to the test.
But seriously, this turned out to be the easiest most delicious meal.
2 chicken breasts
1 bottle Lawry's Original Seasoned Salt marinade2 slices bacon
1tbs olive oil
1 cup fresh mushrooms, sliced
2 cups cheddar jack cheese, shredded1/2 cup honey mustard dressing (I used ranch dressing because hubby hates mustard and it was amazing)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Marinate the chicken for at least 30 minutes.
Cook the bacon in a large skillet. Set aside on a paper towel.
Saute mushrooms in olive oil, add salt and pepper as needed. Set aside.
Add chicken to the skillet and brown on both sides, about 5 minutes each side.
Place chicken in baking pan, apply a layer of ranch on each one.
Top with mushrooms, bacon, then shredded cheese.
Bake in the oven for 30 minutes.
Serve with ranch and some yummy grilled potatoes :)

That looks yummy!
